Goal Card Submitted
Participation & Intellectual Property Notice
By participating in any activity of the Museum of Human Goals, including but not limited to submitting a Goal Card, participating in exhibitions, interviews, photographs, video recordings, audio recordings, public events, digital projects, art installations, or any other Museum programs, each participant confirms that they have read these terms and voluntarily agree to them in full.
All submitted Goal Cards, written goals, intentions, statements, images, photographs, audio recordings, video materials, signatures, and any related materials and documentation become part of the Museum archive and collection of the Museum of Human Goals, unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing between the participant and the Museum.
Each participant grants the Museum of Human Goals a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free right to use, reproduce, publish, display, distribute, archive, store, adapt, translate, combine with other works, and commercially use these materials in any existing or future form within the scope of the Museum’s activities, including but not limited to exhibitions, physical and digital archives, research, educational programs, publications, books, catalogs, documentaries, television, websites, mobile applications, social media, marketing materials, advertising campaigns, commercial projects, merchandise, licensing projects, and any other activities consistent with the Museum’s mission.
The participant confirms that the submitted Goal Cards, texts, images, and other materials are created by the participant or are used lawfully, and do not infringe copyrights, trademarks, image rights, privacy rights, or any other rights of third parties.
The participant understands that each Goal Card may become part of a collective artwork created by the Museum of Human Goals. After a Goal Card is included in a collective artwork, the participant does not acquire any ownership, copyright, or other exclusive rights in such collective artwork, which is an independent work and archive object of the Museum of Human Goals.
Participation is voluntary and does not grant participants any ownership rights, copyright interests in the Museum collection, royalties, compensation, or future financial claims related to the use of the submitted materials.
By submitting materials, each participant gives informed consent to their use and waives any present or future claims against the Museum of Human Goals, its founders, team members, partners, sponsors, and representatives related to the use, publication, storage, distribution, or commercial use of the submitted materials within the scope of the Museum’s activities.
The participant understands and agrees that their Goal Card, name if provided, and related materials may be stored indefinitely in the physical and digital archives of the Museum of Human Goals as part of the permanent Museum collection and historical archive of human goals, values, and aspirations for future generations.
The Museum of Human Goals reserves the exclusive right, at its sole discretion, to review all submitted materials before publication and to approve, reject, not publish, edit solely for formatting purposes, hide, or remove any materials in whole or in part if they violate applicable law, infringe third-party rights, contain offensive, discriminatory, misleading, or otherwise inappropriate content, or conflict with the mission, values, or curatorial policy of the Museum of Human Goals.
The Museum’s decision regarding publication or non-publication of materials is final and does not require further explanation or justification.
The Museum of Human Goals retains full curatorial, archival, property, and commercial rights over all collected materials as part of its mission to create, preserve, and develop a worldwide archive of human goals, intentions, and aspirations.
